Bullshit! To &lt;i&gt;download&lt;/i&gt; a .torrent file you don&#039;t need any specific client. The .torrent file contains only meta data about the file you want to download like trackers, the hash(es), etc. and is only some bytes or kilobytes small. I&#039;ve never seen that someone shared a .torrent file via BitTorrent, .torrent files itself are usually downloaded via HTTP or FTP. The .torrent is &lt;i&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; the file you actually want to download.
So the sentence should state that you need a client in order to download &lt;i&gt;the file/files which is/are described in the .torrent&lt;/i&gt; file.]]></description>
